Active Maths in Year 2

This term Year 2 have been busy using number lines in their learning. They took their learning outside and played a game using their number knowledge along a number line. They began by drawing a blank number line in chalk and taking a 'lucky dip' card which had a number written as a word from zero to twenty. Then they had to use their number knowledge to place the number in the correct place along the number line. Afterwards, they played a game with their learning partner - trying to be the first to place three consecutive numbers.
